Summer Fun

Hi everyone!

It's been a great summer. My new favorite activity is driving Dad's truck. Oh, that's not Dad's truck above, that's just me chill'in in a little red convertable I scored off one of the kids in the hood.

I've grown alot since my last blog, I'm now almost 11 months old and weigh 22 lbs. I have 2 teeth (maybe 3 by next week) and can say "HI Dad, Momma, Quack, Ca...Kitty Ca, I wave bye bye, clap, patty cake and dance to music... Oh yah, and I have a mean power squat!

I can stand all by myself. This morning I took 12 steps without holding on to anything, but if I have something to hold on to I can walk a long way. Otherwise I find it is fastest to crawl or if I'm only going a short distance to scoot like my cousing Amber did. I recently decided that baby food was for...well...babies, and that I really prefer what big people are eating (to go along with my warm milk of course).

I still like swimming, here's me cooling off with my buddy Cam. See Cam teaching me how to go down the slide head first. It's really fun!

I looooovvvvee animals. We go visit my Aunty Erika at Maplewood farm. Here's me with some pigmy goats.

And on a pony...

but it's only little ...

Here I am on a real horse! This magnificent creature is Jeffrey and when I'm bigger Aunt Erika is going to teach me how to ride

him for real.

My friend Frances took me blackberry picking. We were really good, we put all the berrries in the bucket, didn't eat any...honest!

I've gotten to see all 3 of my great Grandmothers this summer. Here is my great Gramma from Toronto recieving one of my special hugs.

Mom says I give the best hugs in the whole world. It's probably true cause I practise alot.

My gramma is in hopspital right now from having a heart attack. I love you Gramma! Please be all better soon.
